Personal Background
Originally from British Columbia, Mark has called Taiwan home for two decades. Before arriving, he built his foundation in international English training across Canada and Germany—an experience that sparked a lasting passion for communication and cross-cultural mentorship that still drives his work today.
Mark spent 17 years with EY’s L&D team, where he specialized in helping business professionals sharpen their English communication skills in a demanding corporate environment. That frontline experience gave him a ground-level understanding of what it takes to communicate effectively across cultures and industries.
Today, Mark is the founder of MEE Consulting (馬可表達英語顧問), where he combines his corporate background with modern AI tools to help professionals navigate the international stage. Expanding on this mission to support local education and professional growth, he recently acquired Talk Central, an innovative, community-focused co-working and learning space tailored for teachers, students, and professionals in Taipei.
Mark is excited to bring this business perspective to the CCCT Board and do his part in strengthening the commercial and cultural ties between Canada and Taiwan
