Personal Background
Clint Rand is the Elementary School Vice Principal at Taoyuan American School (TYAS) in Taiwan, where he leads initiatives in teacher training, student wellbeing, and strategic planning. With over a decade of experience in international education, Clint is known for fostering inclusive, innovative, and academically rigorous learning environments that support both student achievement and staff collaboration.
Clint holds two master’s degrees: a Master’s in Educational Technology and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Winnipeg, providing him with a strong understanding of the social and cultural dynamics that shape school communities. He is currently enrolled in the Certificate in School Management and Leadership program at Harvard Business School Online — a joint initiative with the Harvard Graduate School of Education — further enhancing his capacity to lead school-wide improvement and organizational growth.
At TYAS, Clint plays a central role in the school’s accreditation efforts with CIS and WASC, guiding cross-divisional teams to meet high international standards while cultivating a future-ready educational environment.
