Personal Background

Francisco is a procurement, supply chain, and localization expert from Canada with over 35 years of experience in the wind and renewable energy, railway, automotive, and aerospace industries. He has worked in the USA, Mexico, China, Germany, Spain, India, South Africa, and has been based in Taipei since 2019.

Francisco currently works at Vena Energy Taiwan and is responsible for Regional Procurement APAC for the Offshore Wind division. He previously worked at Northland Power on the Hailong projects and R3 as GM of Procurement. Before that, he served as Global Homologation Director at Nordex in China, and held various roles at Bombardier, Alstom Energy, and Novabus. Francisco is fluent in English, French, and Spanish, and conversational in Mandarin. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Hautes Études Commerciales, Université de Montréal.
