Personal Background

Kenn Watnick is an accomplished business development executive with over 15 years of experience driving revenue growth and cultivating strong client relationships across diverse industries in Taiwan, Canada, and around the world.

Kenn currently holds a senior management position at TECO, where he is responsible for Global Business Development and Key Account Management. During his time at TECO, he has also worked closely with the Canadian Trade Office in Taiwan (CTOT) on various initiatives and supported the business of TECO-Westinghouse Motors in Canada. His professional journey includes key roles at Shihlin Electric & Engineering Corporation (a Mitsubishi Electric affiliate in Taiwan), Panasonic Automotive, and Toyota, as well as entrepreneurial experience as the Co-Owner of GMTS, a trading and consultancy company.

Elected to the Board in February 2025, Kenn is excited to serve as a Director at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan. A native English speaker, he has conversational abilities in Japanese and Mandarin Chinese. Kenn holds an MBA from Washington State University and a BA in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
