Founded in 2015, xSeriCon is a small, independent process safety consultancy with a focus on responsiveness to clients’ needs.
They specialize in process risk analysis, and provide consulting services, training and software. Most of their work involves leading the review of technical designs for process facilities such as oil & gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, utilities and power plants. The aim of their work is to identify design weaknesses in terms of safety, environmental harm, asset loss, and production loss. They are currently developing a novel type of software app to streamline and modernize the execution of these risk analysis activities, with the aim of reducing study time and cost and improving the effectiveness of the outcomes.
The founder Dr. Peter Clarke, is from the UK and he picked Taiwan as base for his company since Taiwan is centrally located in an industrially well-developed area of South-East Asia, within easy reach of clients across the region, a good quality of life, and a reasonable business environment.
